Yes — even if you have an active project, our designers dedicate their full attention to every project and want to give you the time you deserve. Please call or email the studio to schedule your first appointment, or reach out to your designer directly to find time that works. Walk-ins are always welcome, but an appointment ensures you get our full focus.

Yes — and we love a collaborative process.
Yes — Wolfgang Studio offers full-scale residential interior design beyond just cabinetry. Ask about our full-service offering if you’d like help with layout, materials, finishes, and the broader vision for your home.
Wolfgang Studio’s primary scope on most projects is to design and deliver your cabinets — installation is performed by a cabinet installer of your choosing, often your general contractor or a specialist your GC brings in.
Between those two scopes, there are decisions, specifications, and coordination tasks that need an owner. Depending on your project, that may fall to your interior designer, a project manager, your GC, or you as the homeowner.

Send us an email and your cabinet designer will respond during business hours.
For new construction, bring your house plans, final appliance selections, and any inspiration photos you’ve collected.
For a remodel, bring your appliance specifications, inspiration photos, and rough dimensions to get started. We’ll plan a visit to measure your space before we get further into design.
The more prepared you are coming in, the more we can accomplish together in that first meeting.
The underside of your upper cabinets comes unfinished by default — this is standard across all cabinet manufacturers and is virtually invisible under normal conditions. Most homeowners never notice it unless they happen to look up at just the right angle.
If a finished underside is important to you, we can add custom panels to the bottoms of your upper cabinets to give them a clean, finished look from every angle. Just ask your cabinet designer to include them in your project quote.
The timeline varies depending on the scope of your project — are we designing just the kitchen, or are we doing multiple areas? It also depends on your ability to be decisive (we give you a lot of options to consider!).
That said, the process typically takes 3–4 months from your first meeting to cabinet delivery. It can take longer for larger or more complex projects, but it rarely moves faster. Plan accordingly, and your cabinet designer will help you build a realistic timeline from the start.

The typical lead time is 6–12 weeks for most cabinets to be manufactured and delivered to our warehouse. Once they arrive, we’ll notify you to make your final payment and schedule delivery to your home.
We have thorough and extensive sign-offs before we place the order so change orders are rare. However, in the instance we are able to make a change after an order is placed, it will incur a $250 change order fee on top of the cost of the changes themselves.
Bring your appliance specifications to your initial meeting and your cabinet designer will partner with your appliance supplier to coordinate. Wolfgang Studio charges $250 per appliance for built-in and panel-ready appliances for this extra coordination.
We require a 50% deposit upon ordering. The remaining 50% is due before we can schedule your delivery. Your cabinet designer will walk you through the details at the time of order.
After your cabinets arrive at our warehouse, your cabinet designer will reach out to coordinate delivery. A few things to have ready: Wolfgang Studio delivers into the garage only — your general contractor, installer, or remodeler is responsible for ensuring the site is ready to accept delivery. That means clean, clear access to the delivery location, no loose pets, and no conditions that would endanger the safety of our delivery personnel.
Yes — Wolfgang Studio offers white glove delivery inside the home for an additional fee. This must be scheduled at least one week in advance of your delivery date, as it requires additional delivery personnel. Ask your cabinet designer for more information..
Wolfgang Studio will hold your cabinets at our warehouse for up to 15 days at no charge. Please make plans to receive delivery before that window closes — coordinate with your installer early so the schedule lines up..
Inspection is the responsibility of the homeowner or their installer at the time of delivery. The good news: fewer than 1 in 1,000 cabinets (0.1%) are delivered with any damage — our manufacturers package and ship with care.
Each cabinet manufacturer has their own warranty replacement process, but Wolfgang Studio will walk you through it every step of the way if something does come up. Please note: any cabinet that has been installed is considered accepted — once installed, cabinets no longer qualify for warranty replacement, so it’s important to notify Wolfgang Studio of any damage before your installer gets to work.
Wolfgang Studio’s primary scope on most projects is to design and deliver your cabinets — installation is performed by a cabinet installer of your choosing, often your general contractor or a specialist your GC brings in.
Hardware is most often installed by the cabinet installer or by the homeowner themselves — it’s one of the more approachable DIY steps in the process. Wolfgang Studio does not perform installation as part of our standard scope. If you’d like us to be more involved, just ask upfront and we’ll plan accordingly.
Wolfgang Studio provides an installation packet with your cabinets at delivery — your installer should reference this first, as it answers the majority of questions that come up during install. If anything else comes up, please don’t hesitate to give us a call!
This is completely normal and expected after initial install. All cabinet doors and drawer fronts need slight adjustments after they’re hung, and your installer can make these corrections quickly and simply using the built-in adjusters on the hinges and drawer slides. This is a routine part of the installation process, not a defect. Your installer should complete these adjustments before they consider the job done.
Yes — some homeowners do choose to install their own cabinets. However, we strongly recommend using a professional installer. Cabinet installation involves precise measurements, leveling, and sequencing that can be
difficult without experience, and mistakes can be costly to correct.
For DIY installations, please be aware that a $250.00 consultation fee applies. Our experience is that self-installed
projects tend to generate more questions and service requests — often for issues that turn out to be installation-
related rather than product defects. The consultation fee helps us ensure we can continue providing responsive
support to all of our customers.
If you are confident in your ability to complete the installation independently and do not anticipate needing our
support, we are happy to waive this fee — just let your cabinet designer know at the time of your order.
If you'd like a recommendation for a professional installer in your area, your cabinet designer would be happy to help.
Minor adjustments to doors and drawers are a normal part of settling in after installation. Your installer should handle these as part of their punchlist, but if you need to make small tweaks yourself, there are many helpful video tutorials available on YouTube — just search for your specific cabinet line or hardware brand for step-by-step guidance.
Yes — all cabinets benefit from minor adjustments and routine care over the years. Hinges may need occasional tightening, drawer slides can be lubricated annually, and painted or finished surfaces appreciate a little attention. Many helpful resources are available online for cabinet maintenance specific to your door style and finish.
Yes — and that’s completely normal. Slight imperfections happen during delivery and install; it’s part of working with real materials in a real construction environment. Your installer is provided with a touch-up kit matched to each paint color or stain used in your project so small nicks and scuffs can be addressed on the spot.
Our cabinet manufacturers provide warranties for their products – Wolfgang Studio provides no warranties directly. If something arrives damaged, you or your installer will need to fill out the appropriate form and submit photos to Wolfgang Studio — we’ll take it from there.
As a general guideline: if you can see a defect from arm’s length it’s typically considered acceptable for replacement. If you have to get up close with a magnifying glass or a flashlight to see an issue, it’s likely not going to get approved for a warranty replacement.
Start by sending a photo of the issue to your Wolfgang Studio designer. In most cases we can assess the situation and move forward with a resolution — whether that means a replacement part, a new cabinet, or a simple fix — without an on-site visit. This also gets the process started faster than scheduling an appointment.
If an in-person assessment is needed, your designer will let you know and we'll take it from there.
Generally speaking, no — however, it all depends on your specific situation. Notify Wolfgang Studio as early as possible of any replacements needed and we will guide you through the entire process.
Replacements typically take 2–3 weeks, depending on the manufacturer. Your cabinet designer will keep you updated on timing once a replacement is confirmed and in process.
It depends on scope and taste. We often tell clients to plan for somewhere between $30,000 and $130,000+ — and sometimes outside that range in either direction. The size of the project, the door style, finish, and any specialty features all play a role.
The best way to get a real number is to schedule a cabinet appointment. Your cabinet designer will develop a full layout and provide you with a detailed quote.
Cabinet quotes are not as straightforward as you might expect — options like paint vs. stain, finished end panels, and customizations required on every order make for complexity that is too hard to itemize out. What we can promise is that we do everything we can to understand your budget upfront and work hard to keep you within it.
A Google review goes further than almost anything else — it helps other homeowners find us and means the world to your designer. Referrals are equally huge. We’ve had clients drop by with coffee, chocolate, and flowers — which are always appreciated. Truly, thank you — our designers take tremendous pride in their work and your recognition fuels that.
Yes! — friends who refer their friends to Wolfgang Studio are rewarded with a $20 Starbucks gift card. Word-of- mouth is the foundation of our business and we never take it for granted. Ask your cabinet designer for details.
